About Soy Candles

Have you tried a natural soy candle? A truly natural soy candle will burn differently than any other type of candle you’ve ever tried. It all starts with a passion to create a clean-burning, wonderfully smelling candle. Start with natural soy wax flakes, add high quality fragrance, a cotton wick, and a nice container, a lot of patience, testing, and finally, the most important ingredient: the aloha spirit. Soy candles burn at a much lower temperature than paraffin wax candles, and give off virtually no bi-products (soot, smoke.) Here’s more information about the history of soy wax candlesNatural Soy FlakesA natural soy candle can also last up to 50% longer than a paraffin candle. And although soy candles possess many benefits over other types of candles, a truly natural soy candle can also be very challenging to create. Since we add no other ingredients (except for the wax, wick and fragrance,) our candles take many trial test to pass our approval. Our candles, when correctly lit and burned, will burn completely, leaving almost zero wax on the sides of the container. Click here to learn more about “best burn” techniques for our natural Hawaiian Soy Candles. Another added benefit of soy is that it is easily cleaned should you wish to reuse your container, or if wax is spilled or dropped onto your table or floor. And since the soy wax melts at a much lower temperature than paraffin wax, it’s also prevented our staff from several close-calls with burns or injuries. Although you’re dealing with a lighted candle, the wax that pools around the flame pools at a much lower temperature.

Here’s more information about paraffin.

The Making Of A Hawaiian-Candles.com Natural Soy Candle

Wicking A Soy Wax Travel TinHawaiian-Candles.com natural soy candles are poured with pure aloha.

We hand-pour our candles on the Big Island of Hawaii. We’re currently adding retailers and affiliates and sell directly to the public as well. We’re also starting a Candle Party Program.

Soy Candles are fun to make. We’ve found that our staff and ohana (family) truly enjoy the entire process from brainstorming new fragrances, to testing our new candles, to pouring production batches. Candles seem to put everyone in a great mood, and it’s a fantastic way to express your creative mind.  We hope you enjoy and learn that candles and especially soy candles (in general) may provide your family with years of memorable experiences! Enjoy this fantastic pastime with

Our Soy Candle Fragrance “Scoring” System

In an attempt to give you a better idea how are candles perform in terms of “lit aroma” and “unlit aroma,” we’ve created a simple scoring system to help you. Our candles are all unique, so some candles are stronger than others. But ultimately, your nose will be the final judge of our aromas, and since everyone’s nose is very different, use our guide just as a general guideline.

Here’s additional information about how we “score” or describe are individual candles unlit and lit fragrance strength.

For more information, please contact CustomerService@Hawaiian-Candles.com or call us today at 866-267-5814 (808 430-6567) or press “Live Chat” to speak with a Candle Expert.
